A finishing products main purpose is to protect and enhance the finish of your car, be it paint, glass, trim or anything else. You can keep it simple and use your favourite or switch it up and combine a few.  

For a dripping wet show finish, using a glaze and then a show wax an hour later will layer filling and gloss enhancing products offering the best for aesthetics during show season. In Winter you may prefer a more durable wax or sealant. For years of protection you can look at ceramic coatings, but they require more technical expertise in their use.

To maintain all of them there are a myriad of spray waxes, detail sprays and quick detailers that can be used.

Application and Removal: With spray products you can reduce the risk of streaking and overspray by spraying to your microfibre or applicator first. Waxes should be layered as thinly as possible, this uses less product and makes the removal process easier. Your choice of microfibre towel is important. See our Edgeless Microfibres below.

Layering: The general rule here is; most durable first, unless you are glazing. In that case glaze, then the most durable. For best results wait at least one hour between layers. For ceramic coatings there is usually a more strict window of 1 and 4 hours between layers.

Maintenance: keep your car looking it's best with weekly or fortnightly washes and intermittent chemical decontamination to remove tar and fallout. It's advisable to maintain with Hybrid Detailer to keep the gloss, protection and hydrophobic water behaviour at its best.
